"We recently added a porch and side extension to our house, and couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Kenny and the team were fantastic from start to finish. They were on-site promptly every morning, project updates were provided on a daily basis and we were also given a clear, staged payment plan.
The site was left safe and secure at the end of each day which gave us peace of mind when we were out or in the house or garden with our baby. We also requested some changes to the build during the works - Kenny and the team were really accommodating and gave us lots of helpful advice and suggestions. "Having previously used CJD Watson builders in late 2011 to build a dining room extension: with which we were; and remain delighted with. In the autumn of 2016 we again asked them to do the work to remove an old, tired, damp, cold conservatory, and replace it with a Sunroom Extension.

Due to their busy order book, the original start date was to be January 2017 however, following the postponement of another job, we were offered a start date of late October 2016; with a six-week build estimate. We were a little concerned that any slippage or weather delays might take us into the holiday period; but Cid assured us that it would be completed on time. Work started, as promised, at the end of October with the removal of the old conservatory, and preparation work to the deck on which it was built; with construction works starting two days later. Over the next six weeks; Kenny, Stuart, and Brian, worked from first light till dark almost every day. Around a week was lost due to weather, which affected the roofing contractor, and plasterer.

The room was completed and handed over to us on the 16th December, with two minor remedial actions outstanding; both of which needed parts, which would not be available until the new year. Those were resolved as soon as parts became available.

We are completely delighted with the finished article. It exceeds our expectations in all aspects and looks better than the original drawings suggested. It is also usable year-round, warm, quiet, and, despite having less glazing than the original conservatory; feels brighter, and more comfortable, with our views of the garden enhanced by the design.

I would highly recommend CDJ Watson and their team. They were always there when promised; kept us fully informed about the work, and were always open to suggestions and questions. The project was completed within days of the estimate and came in slightly over budget, due to changes made by us as the project progressed. Following an inspection by building standards, the completion certificate was issued on the 20th January 2017 with no problems."
